Organization for International Investment (OFII) is a business and trade association representing the US subsidiaries of around 170 global companies. Our membership includes companies such as Nestle, L'Oreal, Toyota, Unilever, Shell, and more. We advocate for nondiscriminatory legislation for these global companies in an effort to keep the US the world's leading investment destination and to encourage inbound FDI.
With a staff of only 12 professionals, interns play a very active role in our office with minimal administrative tasks. This position is intended to provide valuable work experience and an understanding of U.S. trade policy, investment, and taxation to college junior or seniors or recent graduates with demonstrated interest in political science, foreign or public policy, economics, or communications.
Responsibilities include researching specific issues, attending and reporting on OFII meetings and other external meetings as needed. This intern will split his/her time on assisting the Government Affairs team with their research and lobbying efforts.
Must demonstrate good research and writing skills. Prior internship experience preferred.
