searching for a job or internship, or advancing in your chosen field. Some of
the best opportunities can only be accessed through professional networks, and
those skilled at networking always have an inside edge.
Practice will increase your skill and confidence as a
networker. That’s why the Lavender Leadership Honor Society is partnering with
Lambda Pride, the University of Maryland’s DC-based LGBT Alumni Group, to host
a special speed networking event on Thursday, April 4th from 6:30 - 8 at the
University Career Center. This is your chance to learn networking in a fun and
informative setting.
