OAR’s programs include pollution prevention and energy efficiency; indoor and outdoor air quality; industrial air pollution; pollution from vehicles and engines; radon; acid rain; stratospheric ozone depletion; climate change; and radiation protection.

Who May Apply:
Individuals enrolled or accepted for enrollment seeking a diploma, certificate, bachelor’s degree, graduate degree, or professional degree from a qualifying educational institution on a full- or half-time basis.
Qualification Requirements:
Pathways Interns qualify for an initial appointment based on their educational achievements. To qualify for the GS-04 level, you need to have completed two full academic years of post high school study or an associate’s degree. To qualify for the GS-07 level, you need to have completed one full-year of graduate study, or an undergraduate degree with superior academic achievement.
