Inforum, a research center within the Department of
Economics, anticipates hiring one or two Undergraduate Research Assistants for
the rest of this spring semester, with the intention of continuing the
employment through the summer and fall. These hourly, paid positions
consist of general assistance for economic modeling and analysis projects,
especially working with many different types of data within Excel and
statistical packages. Students typically work for 10 to 16 hours per week
during the semester, and for 30 to 40 hours per week over the summer.
Candidates are preferred to have several economics courses and a good
understanding of Excel.
