We are seeking applicants that:
- Have excellent writing and data management skills
- Are proficient in STATA and Excel
- Are familiar with the state legislative process
- Are policy-oriented, preferably with experience researching transportation policy
- Are self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to work well independently, as well as with a team
- Can balance multiple tasks
- Have a high attention to detail
- Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably with a major in economics, political science or the social sciences
- Detailed research on transportation funding policy and initiatives at the federal and state level
- Reaching out to industry and state officials
- Writing in-depth case studies and providing analysis of transportation funding measures
- Compiling and managing large datasets
- Analyzing data and information from federal and state sources
- Writing blog posts for publication on TIAC and ARTBA sites
- Assisting with ARTBA events, including in-person events as well as webinars and conference calls
