- Update and build upon a foundation Connect User Guide to be accessible to a varied audience
- Build and deliver training on creating and customizing reports in Salesforce
- Develop visual designs to accompany training and learning materials
- Create a catalog of existing Salesforce report templates to inform future decision-making around archival and cleanup
- Communicate and collaborate with various internal department staff to identify use processes and procedures to include in learning materials
- Provide general administrative and project management support
- Strong desire to get real-world experience using Salesforce to manage business processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including public speaking, report writing, and developing materials for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to synthesize information
- Critical and innovative thinking
- Detail-oriented; strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Requirements
Prospective interns must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university; be considered rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or post-doctoral students; and remain academically enrolled throughout the internship.
AARP also considers non-traditional interns who are looking to re-enter the workforce or change careers. This may include those who have previously graduated from college and enrolled in a continuing education program.
