FDIC has multiple internships in their Resolutions Division

These positions are located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, Dallas, TX or Washington, DC offices of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support for Resolutions and Receiverships functions.

A total of 7 vacancies can be filled in either the Dallas, TX or Washington, DC locations.  

Responsibilities

CG-04:

- Provides clerical assistance in the research and preparation of a variety of documents, and presentations. Assists in collating, gathering and compiling data for reports on failing or failed/acquiring financial institution transactions. May use a variety of automated information systems to collect and collate data for reporting purposes.

- Prepares routine and recurring memoranda and other documents concerning a variety of issues and financial matters as assigned.

- Assists higher level staff in monitoring specifically prescribed data for reporting purposes in one or more functional areas of the division.  May provide clerical support in the monitoring of a variety of contracts and or agreements between the FDIC and other parties.

- Participates in financial institution closings, performing a variety of general functions to provide support to the closing.

CG-05:

- Provides assistance in the research and preparation of a variety of documents, and presentations. Leads presentations to department staff and management on research findings. Assists in compiling complex data for reports on failing or failed/acquiring financial institution transactions. Uses a variety of automated information systems to collect and analyze data for reporting purposes.

- Prepares reports and other documents for supervisor’s approval concerning a variety of issues and financial matters as assigned.

- Assists higher level staff in monitoring specifically prescribed data for reporting purposes in one or more functional areas of the division.  This may include assisting higher level staff with both administrative and technical work related to monitoring of a variety of contracts and or agreements between the FDIC and other parties.

- Participates in financial institution closings, performing a variety of general functions to provide support to the closing.
