Financial Communications Full-time Job in NYC

The ideal Associate will have:
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in public relations/communications, government affairs, finance or related industry
  • A strong interest in business, financial markets, or economic policy
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A tendency to pay close attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude and desire to succeed at any task, no matter how big or small
As an Associate at LSP, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations on our client accounts, including:
  • Support client teams with media, public affairs, and financial research and analysis
  • Conduct monitoring and analysis of broadcast, print, and online media coverage of clients and client issues
  • Develop media pitches and interface with journalists
  • Produce social media content for clients
  • Draft client-facing materials (e.g. press releases, fact sheets, talking points, etc.)
  • Assist in the new business process, including contributing to proposals

The target base salary for this position is $50,000 – $80,000, in addition to a competitive benefits and bonus package (as applicable). Compensation is determined by several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
