The Bureau of Economic Analysis is hiring for an Economist Student Trainee position in the Department of Commerce. This position will be filled under the Pathways Internship Program. This Program allows students to gain paid work experience while pursuing a degree, diploma or certificate at a qualifying institution. Under the Pathways Program, students who successfully complete all work, study, qualifications, and other eligibility requirements may be offered a permanent position to work for our agency upon graduation or completion of a qualifying certificate.
Duties include:
- Prepares estimates and analyzes data trends and economics.
- Collaborate with others on joint or team projects under strict deadlines.
- Communicate verbally and in writing to analyze/explain economic data, methods, or topics.
