CARE Peer Programs Now Accepting Applications

2026-27 Peer Programs applications are open! CARE offers three Peer Programs for current undergraduate students: Peer Advocacy, Peer Education, and Peer Outreach. Our programs enable students to gain hands-on professional experience along with six course credits. 

Students will learn about power-based violence, support survivors, develop their public speaking skills, and gain program planning experience. It is a great opportunity for students to boost their resumes and get involved on campus! Undergraduate students can apply at go.umd.edu/carepeerapplication. Applications close March 9th, 2026.
