Junior Consultant on Economics (P1 level)
The consultant will be part and provide support in the following activities:
- Support implementation of capacity building activities aimed at facilitating the use of economic evidence in the design of policies in consistency with the WHO Global Action Plan for the Prevention and control of Noncommunicable Diseases.
- Development of systematic search and literature review on effectiveness of SSBs and alcohol taxes.
- Preparation of background documents for governmental meetings on fiscal policies for tobacco, alcohol, and SSBs and support organization of such meetings.
Education: A university degree in economics, social sciences, public policy, public health, international affairs, or related field, from a recognized institution.
Language: Very good knowledge of English or Spanish with a working knowledge of the other language
