Strategy, Performance & Capactiy Building Internship, Social Impact

Social Impact is a global development management consulting firm that provides monitoring, evaluation, strategic planning, and capacity building services to advance development effectiveness.

SI is seeking an intern to provide support for the firm’s Strategy, Performance and Capacity Building (SPCB) team. The SPCB team is the premier service provider of strategic planning, performance management, training, management assessments, change management support, gender integration, leadership coaching, and organizational capacity development to help our clients and local partners to ‘manage for results.’ The position is based in Arlington, VA. We will consider candidates for full-time (40 hrs. /week) or half-time (20 hrs. /week) assignments. All SI interns receive a stipend.

The intern will be assigned to various SPCB projects, including technical work (e.g., research assistance, organization of tools, support tasks for analysis and reporting, etc.). The intern will have an opportunity to contribute to internal and external projects, and projects in various stages of implementation. The intern will therefore interact with multiple project teams and project managers, with one overall supervisor assisting to coordinate tasks. Interns are also able to take advantage of SI’s internal professional development opportunities (e.g., learning workshops and brown-bags) that take place regularly at SI headquarters.
