EPA's Office of Air and Radiation develops national programs, policies, and regulations for controlling air pollution and radiation exposure. OAR’s portfolio includes: pollution prevention and energy efficiency, indoor and outdoor air quality, industrial air pollution, pollution from vehicles and engines, radon, acid rain, stratospheric ozone depletion, climate change, and radiation protection. We are seeking student interns in Washington, DC; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Montgomery, Alabama; and Las Vegas, Nevada. Opportunities are available for student interns in the following areas:

Who May Apply:
Individuals enrolled or accepted for enrollment seeking a diploma, certificate, bachelor’s degree, graduate degree, or professional degree from a qualifying educational institution on a full- or half-time basis.

Qualification Requirements:
Pathways Interns qualify for an initial appointment based on their educational achievements. To qualify for the GS-07 level, you need to have completed one year of graduate study, or an undergraduate degree with Superior Academic Achievement. To qualify for the GS-04 level, you need to have completed two full academic years of post-high school study or an associate’s degree.
