How to Search for an Internship or Job Workshop on Monday, October 4th from 12:00-12:45 pm!


Are you searching for an internship or job and not sure where to begin? Or, have you been looking for opportunities and feel like you're at a standstill - unsure about the next steps in your search?

In this session, we will discuss:
  1. Specific resources available through campus and externally to help you find internship and job opportunities in various fields and industries.
  2. Ways to stay organized in your search.
  3. Quick tips on making a positive first impression on resumes and during interviews.
  4. Strategies to connect with professionals (including UMD alumni!) working within your intended career field of interest.
This workshop will be conducted in-person on a monthly basis in the University Career Center & The President’s Promise at 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing.
