The next ECON Employer/Alumni Panel is on Friday, March 8th in the UMD MS in Applied Economics DC Suite (1400 16th St. NW, Suite 140, Washington, DC 20036) from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. The event will start with a brief panel introduction and then you'll have the opportunity to meet with representatives from:
- U.S. Department of the Treasury Office of International Affairs
- Nasdaq
- Federal Housing Finance Agency
- Commodity Futures Trading Commission
- American Institute for Economic Research
- Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)
- Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)
Additionally, it is a great opportunity to see the DC location (and grab lunch downtown). We occasionally have events there, and the MS program associate director will be there if you are considering applying to a master's program after graduating. She is happy to talk options, as she worked before pursuing a graduate degree and has experiences in the private industry, academia, and consulting.
