Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Marketing Analyst is responsible for providing information and insights regarding customers, markets, and competitors, to measure performance and support business decisions. Candidates will work independently to conduct research and will work closely with senior management to analyze and interpret findings. Candidate will monitor day to day marketing performance, identify areas for improvement and help implement changes to improve performance metrics. Candidate will assist in creating and managing marketing campaigns within our GIS and health marketing departments. Candidate will be expected to update and maintain daily reporting, as well as, perform any related administrative and operational functions.

Qualifications

 

Bachelors Degree in Communication, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field. 3-5 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to support and promote business development. Understanding of the IT industry's characteristics, business needs, and culture. Understanding of the current and prospective roles of technology in GIS and IT. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in graphic design is a plus.

Join BSOS Ambassadors

The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is accepting applications for the BSOS Ambassador Program.  This is an opportunity to become involved in our college while earning two (2) elective credits (via a seminar course). This opportunity provides excellent leadership, public speaking and teaching experience as well as networking opportunities with faculty, staff, alumni, university administrators and/or prospective students. Dept. Of Treasury Spring 2015 Internships

The Office of Economic Policy, U.S. Treasury Department is currently looking for college students interested in Economics, Finance, or Public Policy for our Spring 2015 internship program. Our program runs year round with three sessions: January through May, May through August, and September through December. Our program is about substance. Interns are generally assigned a long-term research project as well as smaller projects. They are also expected to attend Congressional Hearings and think tank lectures and presentations and summarize these events for the Assistant Secretary and other senior level economists. Candidates should have strong writing skills, be able to work independently, be well organized and highly motivated. Interns are expected to work between 32 and 40 hours a week. There is some flexibility in the work hours if you are taking classes while in D.C. Our intern positions are unpaid. We do provide a subway subsidy to help defray commuting expenses.
