The Career IMPACT 1-Day Workshop **APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED**

Success in a career and in life occurs when ambitions align with core values. People that succeed understand how to effectively communicate with and influence others, how to maximize their potential, and how to overcome challenges.

The Career IMPACT Workshop was designed to impart those skills through an intensive 1-day experience. Through the workshop students will:

• Analyze and employ the six steps of high IMPACT persuasion
• Explore and debate the role of ethics and integrity in leadership
• Enhance self-knowledge
• Discover how to leverage core motivators for career enrichment

Details: The Career IMPACT Workshop will be held in Fulton, MD at the headquarters of NewDay USA, a top-rated financial services company. It is being offered exclusively to UMD students through a partnership between the University and NewDay USA.

The workshop is highly recommended for:

• Leaders of student organizations that want increase their leadership abilities
• Motivated students seeking to match their passions with a suitable career
• Students that wish to enhance their marketable professional skills

Date & Time: Friday, October 31 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Lunch will be provided.

Costs: No cost to UMD students. Fees affiliated with workshop materials are covered by NewDay USA.

Transportation: A UMD bus will be provided from campus on the day of the workshop.

Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students of any major.

Space is limited so early applications are encouraged.
