Main Duties and Responsibilities: The Research Intern provides support to members of the Plisko Sustainable Solutions team in the following areas: Assisting the team with research in support of existing and potential new projects; assisting with drafting case studies; and providing general organizational support as required. Topic areas may include, but not be limited to: solar energy; stormwater management; and sustainability certifications.
Qualifications and experience required:
Essential: College junior or senior in environmental or sustainability curriculum or other relevant program; Demonstrable affinity with sustainability objectives; Excellent written and spoken English; Excellent research skills; Accuracy and an eye for detail; Discretion; Well-organized and efficient; Good team player; Flexible and eager to learn new skills.
Eligibility criteria and terms: Upperclass students are welcome to apply; candidates must be a U.S. citizen; This internship is offered on a part-time basis 5 – 10 hours per week; The internship pays between $15 and $20 / hour based on experience.
