Responsibilities include:
• Researching policy issues related to business and the economy
• Tracking releases of economic indicators and policy reports
• Contributing to issue briefs and reports
• Creating content for social media
• Attending policy discussions and events
Qualifications
Applicants are expected to have strong skills in research and writing, as well as experience with using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Applicants with experience using other data visualization software will be given added consideration. Candidates should have a strong interest in policy analysis and approaching specific issues from a business perspective. The internship is located in our Washington, D.C. office, and can be done on either a part-time or full-time basis. We are seeking candidates for a 16-week fall 2014 program. Applications will be due by July 9th and interviews will occur on a rolling basis.
