Financial Management Student Trainee, Bureau of Economic Analysis

This vacancy is for a Student Trainee (Financial Management) at the Bureau of Economic Analysis. At the successful conclusion of this program, student may be eligible for non-competitive conversion to a ZA-0510 Accountant, term or permanent position in the competitive service provided that all of the terms of the Internship Program are met and the student meets the qualifications for the position.

Duties
The individual selected for this position will:

• Review and edit financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Conduct economic analysis and estimation to include improving estimation techniques
• Contact respondent companies to obtain survey response, correct errors, and request additional information
• Audits survey reports containing accounting and related economic data
