Virtual Service Opportunity--Smithsonian Digital Volunteer

There's an opportunity with the Smithsonian to be a digital volunteer at their Transcription Center. You can help make historical documents and biodiversity data more accessible by becoming a “volun-peer.” There are hundreds of different projects from Women’s History to the Freedmen's Bureau Records, so you can work on a project that aligns with your passions and interests. This is your chance to learn more about the experiences of our nation’s history and engage in meaningful community-service. Some require language expertise.
