FOR THE GS-09 LEVEL: Applicants must have one
year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-07 level) that may have
been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors
which demonstrates:
- Knowledge of budget and financial management concepts, principles, practices, laws and regulations
- Ability to analyze accounting data and offer solutions to complex financial and program problems.
- Ability to analyze financial requests from various Program Managers and make recommendations
- Knowledge of financial automated systems, word processing, databases and spreadsheet applications
- Ability to analyze and prepare reports on the causes of problems, determining the source of document processing problems and recommending corrective actions.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing to formulate and present written conclusions, draft modifications of procedural guidance and compose recommendations and briefing materials.
- Ability to manage projects from planning through execution, and to deliver products.
