Entry Level Social Science Analyst Position with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Working in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), Policy and Programs Group (PPG), Division of Portfolio Management and Strategy, you will serve as a Social Science Research Analyst responsible for conducting analyses of the quality and performance of HHS health and human services programs.

Specifically you will:

• Develop and conduct policy, program or evaluation analyses to guide the development and implementation of models testing new approaches to health care delivery and payments.
• Plan and perform activities in conducting quantitative analyses on cost and use of health care services by program populations.
• Develop clearly written and concise issue papers and talking points for senior staff when needed.
• Represent the organization at briefings and other meetings on organization matters, including the justification and approval of specific projects.
