Are you planning to graduate in 2017 or 2018? Are you
interested in using your economics major in a consulting profession? If so, you
should consider attending an upcoming meeting of the International Economics
and Finance Society! IEFS and KPMG (www.kpmg.com) are hosting an informal
dinner here on campus.
The purpose is to jump-start KPMG’s recruiting
process, which happens early in the fall semester for both summer interns and
full-time positions. At this event you can informally “network” with KPMG
employee’s in the Tax Practice’s Economic & Valuation Services group.
KPMG has been recruiting Econ majors from Maryland for several years to
work in both Tysons Corner, VA, and New York City offices. KPMG will be
interviewing on campus in early fall for 2017 internships and full-time
positions, so this is your chance to learn about the positions and be fully
ready for those interviews. Here are the relevant details:
