The International Business Institute (BMGT 448G 0101) is scheduled to take place May 23-27, 2016. The 3-credit course is led by Professor Bennet Zelner and includes a number of site visits in the Washington, D.C., area. The course will take place primarily at the Smith's School's Washington, D.C. campus.
Students will gain insight into how they can leverage their area of study into a meaningful career in international business, and meet the demands of employers who increasingly expect managers and executives to possess knowledge of these topics. The class includes both classroom-based and experiential learning activities (in addition to pre-work and post-work), with visits to companies, international organizations, and embassies located in the Greater Capital Region.

When: The accelerated course will take place May 23-27, 2016, from 8:45 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cost: Tuition for the 2016 summer session is charged at the per-credit rate based on student type (undergraduate/graduate) and residency. At the undergraduate level, the per-credit rate is as follows: $346 (MD in-state) and $1,258 (out-of-state).
