GoChat – Tech Startup Internship

After a semester full of work, are you looking to do some more research this summer? How about analyzing the analysis of the effectiveness of our analysis platform (Note: Suit & Tie to look professional inside your 3x3 cubicle not included)? Well then, we have nothing at all to offer you.

In the case that you’d prefer to actually contribute, come try out for a fresh tech startup. You’ll work side by side with our head of networking who has 2 years of experience in a (boring) wall-street bank and a year in the tech field. Experience includes actual networking, pitching, sharing, commenting, mostly the stuff you did in class either way. I forewarn you, there will be a lot of pitching and talking with complete strangers. If you aren’t comfortable being social, dishing out compliments and making fun of yourself, this is not the position for you.

I don’t want your resume, how do you convey charisma through a template? To apply, create a 1 minute mock elevator pitch of you pitching GoChat to the website of your choice and upload it to YouTube. Submit the URL of the video and fill out the rest of the fields on our application form, www.GoChat.us/intern

We want to see creativity, an understanding of GoChat’s philosophy, a knack for tailoring a pitch and general awesomeness.

DEADLINE: June 28th

Dates of internship: July-August

*Internship will take place near UMD campus and various convention locations. This is NOT a paid internship.
