Ambassador John Berry, UMD alumnus and former director of the US Office of Personnel Management and ambassador to Australia will be coming to campus November 13 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. He will be speaking about how US business and US diplomacy interact in the international sphere, with an emphasis on Ambassador Berry's experience with Australia. Industrial Economics, Incorporated (IEc) is an environmental and economic consulting firm. We have over three decades of experience providing professional services for federal agencies, state and local agencies, non-governmental organizations, tribes, and private entities.
Individuals with undergraduate training and limited prior work experience join IEc as Research Analysts (RA). Working with other IEc consultants, Research Analysts gather and evaluate data; perform analyses using a variety of economic, financial, or scientific methods; and communicate results in both written and oral form. AEI is seeking a full-time research assistant to work with senior economists. AEI economists study a wide variety of economic policy issues related to the US economy, tax policy, international finance, political economy, energy and the environment, financial services, technology and innovation, and health care.
