TAMID Hosting Guest Speaker: Lior Shilat, Director of Investments at the Israeli Embassy

Interested in networking with former Fortune 500 CEOs, local venture capitalists, and fostering relationships with innovative companies in one of the world’s most dynamic and flourishing economies? The fresh face in investing, entrepreneurship, and foreign engagement on campus, the TAMID Israel Investment Group is an apolitical student run organization that aims to connect business minded students with the Israeli economy and its burgeoning leaders. After mastering the essentials of investing and the intricacies of the Israeli economy, the program ultimately culminates with a fully funded summer fellowship in Israel, in which participants will work with prestigious Israeli companies and immerse themselves in the culture.

For our first event we will be hosting Lior Shilat, the Director of Investments at the Israeli Embassy, to speak on the current state of the Israeli economy.  This is an open invitation for anyone interested, especially those thinking about joining TAMID when it fully launches next fall.

The event will take place on Monday, April 2nd at 7 PM in the multipurpose room in the Maryland Hillel building. Refreshments and light food will be served.
