The Market Intelligence Analyst Intern should have a background in business, economics, consulting, research, product management, corporate strategy, or business development. They should be well-versed in researching technology innovation and developing thesis and recommendations for corporate-level strategies and business cases. The intern should also be able to garner insights from conferences, talks, outreach to other companies, surveys, and even developing their own market research reports. Importantly they should be able to prepare executive presentation material, analysis, and recommendations to leadership. The internship position can start as soon as possible with a negotiable time frame, depending on the candidate.
What you’ll do:
The successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of assignments in the areas of product research, market management and market research. As part of this, the candidate will:
- Develop market intelligence and insight on key sectors and industry trends (including technology, IP, competitors, consumers, regulatory, etc.) and their strategic implications for Rebellion
- Evaluate business and market strategies to identify and recommend areas of focus
- Conduct and/or participate in complex market research studies, including data analysis and statistical modeling to support sales and marketing efforts
- Prepare reports and graphs of customer/industry trends, findings, and analyses
- Examine, analyze, and synthesize data to forecast future procurement trends and identify customer buying preferences and pricing strategies
- Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders in clear and credible formats, and influence teams to take action based on your recommendations
- Help to develop the corporate-level business strategy, and specific recommendations to execute through partnerships, R&D, product development, and go-to-market

Specific skill sets preferred:
- In-depth knowledge of market research and marketing concepts, and a sound grasp of data analysis, statistical modeling and query building and formatting skills to support sales and marketing efforts
- Demonstrable familiarity and knowledge of emerging technologies with an innate passion and curiosity for technology
- Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Amplitude)
- Advanced Expertise with Excel
- Expertise with PowerPoint and Google Slides
Preferred candidates should have or be in process for bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, marketing, information technology, finance, or any other related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable
