Every college and university in the State of Maryland is able to send one nomination for a junior or senior woman to be considered for The Daily Record Circle of Excellence Scholarship and Award. Only one woman is accepted at the state level each year and University of Maryland has a rich history of our nominee being selected for this prestigious honor. The award criteria are based on three key areas and our nominee should have:

Junior and senior women are eligible to apply to be University of Maryland’s nominee and if selected at the State level will receive a $3,000 cash prize and be honored at a ceremony in May in Baltimore. Applications are available at www.thestamp.umd.edu/womenaward and are due by Sunday, February 19th. Should you have any questions, please feel free to email Donna Lim at dylim@umd.edu.
