POSITION TYPE:  Sophomore, Junior; Summer Internship

Opening for an Investment Banking Analyst Intern for Fall, Winter, and Spring term. J. Moore Partners offers an entrepreneurial, leadership-oriented culture and we look for a person with strong analytical and business development skills. Duties include analyzing companies and market sector, financial modeling/valuation, creating PowerPoint presentations, and writing selling memos. In addition, there will be significant focus on business development to find potential M&A clients. This requires strong written/verbal skills, and someone who is comfortable calling on people they do not know to find new deals for the firm.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate is a current student at a top undergraduate program. Experience with investment banking and M&A is a plus. An understanding of technology and a desire to work with cutting edge internet and software companies is strongly desired. Other qualifications include:

• Passion for finance and a career focus on investment banking

• Outstanding work ethic, commitment to excellence, meticulous attention to details

• Ability to perform seemingly simple, mundane daily tasks with high professionalism and ability to cover all bases in a fast-paced working environment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Entrepreneurial, self-starter, highly motivated, and can function with minimum supervision
