Academic Tutors will be
assigned to work with student-athletes to support their academic success.
Tutors are to provide tutorial services in various academic disciplines,
to assist tutees to better comprehend course material(s), clarification regarding
class requirements, and to assist with the development of stronger academic
skills.
The ideal candidates
will have completed their freshman undergraduate year, maintain a 3.2 GPA, and
will have experience or interest in the field of education, teaching, or
tutoring.
