Interested in the ECON Honors Program?

Dear ECON Majors,

If you would like to impress future employers or graduate programs with a really solid demonstration of your initiative, good writing skills, and willingness to take on a challenge, then consider participating in the Economics Department's honors program during the 2015-2016 academic year. Detailed information on the honors program, including eligibility requirements, can be found online at http://www.econ.umd.edu/undergraduate/honors.

If you are interested in learning more about the honors program, Dr. Clement (Director of Undergraduate Studies) will be holding walk-in hours on Thursday, November 13th from 1pm – 5pm in 3108B Tydings Hall.

This is a perfect opportunity for juniors who might be interested in applying to the department's honors program next year. Please note that students must have already completed or be currently enrolled in ECON321 or STAT400 and at least one intermediate theory course (ECON325 and/or ECON326). In addition, students may not have an expected graduation date before May 2016.
