Our division manages the Economic Census, the Census of Governments, and a series of annual surveys sent to business establishments in the mining, manufacturing, retail and wholesale trade, services, and public sectors. These programs are a key building block for GDP, inflation, and productivity measures, and serve as a widely-used benchmark of US economic output. We are looking for candidates passionate about working hands-on with impactful economic data, and applying their analytical skills to identify, interpret, and communicate data stories through briefings, visualizations, and short articles.
