About our Program:

Our MS Analytics Program has a core focus on data analytics and data science, with courses in advanced statistics, machine learning, NLP and text mining, advanced pattern recognition, big data (with Spark, Hadoop, AWS, etc), advanced algorithms, NN and Deep Learning, data visualization and visual narratives, and much more. We also offer electives throughout our university, with popular areas being in CS, Math/Stats and Public Policy.

While our Program is rigorous, it is also flexible and attracts (and accepts) students from a wide range of backgrounds, including economics, business, finance, statistics, math, CS, linguistics, and engineering. Our base prerequisites are linear algebra, the calculus sequence, statistics, and some kind of CS or programming class. We also offer to our incoming graduate students, a free and online summer prep class that covers R and Python.
