Looking for Qualified Econ Juniors/Seniors for Paid Economic Consulting Internship in Washington DC

Economics Partner LLC, with offices in Denver, Washington DC, and Utah was founded to address a
market need. Specialized in transfer pricing, restructuring, and valuations, we handle all of the applied finance and economics needs of our corporate tax and law firm clients. Our clients include Fortune 100 companies, most of which are the leaders in their industry.

Our services include restructuring-related valuation and economic analyses, in controversy, compliance, and planning settings. We act as expert witnesses. We negotiate audit settlements and advance pricing agreements between governments and taxpayers. We price, document, and defend our clients’ most sensitive intercompany transactions. We provide economic analysis in support of our clients’ negotiations with governments regarding tax incentives.

Job Description
Our interns work on a variety of assignments including but not limited to:

  • Research, analytical work, valuation, benchmarking analysis, and/or documenting the arm’s
  • length nature of intercompany transactions within multinational’s global value chain;
  • Performing in-depth company, industry, and market research;
  • Perform financial and statistical analysis for clients (e.g., Fortune 100 companies and top ranked law firms); and
  • Performing economic analyses of intercompany transactions by using valuation methods.

The environment at EP is very collegial – as such, Interns will be given the opportunity to interact
organically with associates, managers, directors, and partners.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • COVER LETTER REQUIRED, applicants without cover letters fulfilling the following requirements will not be considered: 1) maximum of 250 words; 2) outline interest in economics accounting, finance and/or valuations; and 3) outline why you want to intern for a boutique economic consulting firm.
  • Ideal candidates will be pursuing a degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Statistics.
  • Strong quantitative and writing capabilities.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
  • Analytical mind and ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
  • 3.0 or above GPA required
