IMF Research Assistant Program



The International Monetary Fund is looking for talented candidates for our Research Assistant Program (RAP).

RAP participants will:

  • apply and build skills in economic analysis, research, and database management;
  • work with and support the operational and policy work of IMF economists; and
  • gain two years of relevant work experience before pursuing further studies or moving on to other employment opportunities.

RAP is intended for students who have recently completed their undergraduate studies and bachelor’s degrees in areas such as economics, computer science, statistics, math, business administration and other related fields with superior academic records (at least a 3.5 GPA cumulative) are encouraged to apply.
