The ideal Junior Associate will have:
- Relevant internship experience and/or a degree in Communications, Business or a related discipline
- A strong interest in business, financial markets, or economic policy
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A tendency to pay close attention to detail
- A can-do attitude and desire to succeed at any task, no matter how big or small
- Any government, political, or public relations agency experience is a plus
As a Junior Associate at LSP, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations on our client accounts, including:
- Support client teams with media, public affairs, and financial research and analysis
- Conduct monitoring and analysis of broadcast, print, and online media coverage of clients and client issues
- Develop media pitches and interface with journalists
- Produce social media content for clients
- Draft client-facing materials (e.g. press releases, fact sheets, talking points, etc.)
- Assist in the new business process, including contributing to proposals
