SKY Happiness Retreat is a comprehensive well-being training offered to thousands of university students, faculty, and staff nationwide. In the past year, more than 200 students, faculty, and staff have taken it at UMD. A recent study at Yale University found that SKY Happiness Retreat significantly reduces stress and has a long-lasting impact on mental health, mindfulness, positive emotion, and social connectedness.
The SKY Happiness Retreat introduces SKY Meditation, an evidence-based breath-based meditation that significantly increases well-being and calmness. It's a place to connect with yourself, make new friends, and most importantly, have fun. This SKY Happiness Retreat will be taught by some of the best 1000-hour certified SKY Breath Meditation instructors, who will guide you live through powerful breathwork and meditation (SKY Breath Meditation) practices, a take-home practice, along with QnA and practical tips for mind management.

Note: If you choose to attend the retreat, all sessions are mandatory, as one session builds on the other.
