Workshop for Students Interested in Applying to the Robert H. Smith School of Business - CANCELED!

The professional business fraternity Phi Chi Theta will be partnering with the Smith Undergraduate Student Association (SUSA) to hold a workshop for students interested in applying for the Robert H. Smith School of Business on Nov. 19th at 7:30 in Van Munching Hall room 1212 - Tyser Auditorium. Free pizza will be included and more information can be found below.

Not much assistance is given to business-intended students. Our goal with this seminar is to give students an idea of what to expect aside from the statistics and requirements given by the LEP office’s program. We aim to give you a head start on building a competitive application, and help you get involved with programs that you might not know that you're allowed to join. In this hour-long session, we will cover:
  • A basic overview of the actual application.
  • The resumes and cover letters that some of us had used in our applications this past Spring.
  • Discuss getting bullet points that make a standout applicant.
  • Talk about backup plans for students that aren't accepted.
  • Meet one on one with a current business school student.*

*For students to take full advantage of this offering, please print out and bring a recent copy of your resume.

We are not affiliated with the LEP office or the application judging process but just want to provide some guidance. Please send any questions to TheoMichalik@yahoo.com
