This program is ideal
for our undergraduates who are looking to gain applied quantitative analysis
and econometric modeling skills. Our program is particularly relevant for those
of you interested in policy analyst positions. This program can be completed in
as few as 15 months, and classes are held in the evening at our DC location:
1400 16th Street NW, near Dupont Circle.
Our courses are taught
by an extremely talented group of professional economists, many of whom are
currently employed by the US government in departments as diverse as the
Environmental Protection Agency, the Treasury, and the USDA. As a student in
our program, you will have the chance to learn directly from professionals in
the field, who know exactly what it takes to succeed as an economist. The
program is continuously growing, and we are always adding new events,
opportunities, and courses.
See attached flyer for more information. You may also wish to visit our website at http://masters.econ.umd.edu. Should
you have any questions about the status of your application, I encourage you to
contact Marianne Hayek, the Executive Director of the Masters
Program, by email at hayek@econ.umd.edu.
