U.S. International Trade Commission - Summer Internship

This small, independent, Federal agency is a great place to work, and we aren't the only ones who think so. Join one of the "Best Places to Work" as rated by the Partnership for Public Service. The USITC won the award for the "Most Improved Small Agency" in 2013 and ranked 9 of 29 small agencies.

Our mission is exciting and has far reaching impact. We adjudicate import injury cases and provide the President and Congress with high quality analysis and technical support on international trade, tariff, and competitiveness issues. We are seeking academically successful and motivated students who are particularly interested in our mission.
This summer employment opportunity will be assisting staff members and managers in our most primary and technical occupations - Economists, International Trade, and Legal. While not anticipated, other program areas may be filled, should the need arise. Employment will be under the requirements of the Pathways Intern Program, which requires that you either be enrolled, or accepted for enrollment, on at least a half-time basis, at a qualifying educational institute. Your enrollment must be for the purpose of obtaining a diploma, degree, or certificate. While not widely anticipated, internships may be extended through the school year based on workload requirements and budget availability. This appointment does not confer permanent Federal status. Multiple selections may be made from this announcement based on need.
