Summer opportunity awaits outstanding undergraduate college students who are interested in the financial industry. The State Department Federal Credit Union (SDFCU) is a well established financial institution headquartered in Old Town Alexandria.

SDFCU summer internship program is an opportunity that allows participants to acquire valuable work experience while gaining insight into a variety of positions within our organization. As a Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in work and learning opportunities that will help expand your understanding of the credit union industry.

• Support Services - 2 positions 
• Deposit & Check Operations - 2 positions
• Mortgage & Lending Services - 1 position 
• eStrategy - 1 position 
• Information Technology - 2 positions 
• Funds Management - 1 positions
• Lending Solutions - 2 positions 
• Membership Development - 1 position 
• Member Experience - 2 positions 

Required Experience: Must be an undergraduate college student; moderate to intermediate computer skills in a Windows environment; strong interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task; takes constructive criticism well; strong writing skills; punctuality and effective communication and ability to maintain confidentiality.
