Data Analysis & Research Internship, Freedom House

The intern will assist the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with database management, background research, and basic analysis for the Emergency Assistance Program. She/he will have the opportunity to gain experience in data management, monitoring and evaluation, and Freedom House methodology. This position is based in Washington, DC and reports to the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for Emergency Assistance Programs.

Some Duties and Responsibilities
  • Survey data management (database maintenance, data cleaning, data entry) 
  • Assistance with background research and follow-up with regional specialists and thematic experts regarding discrepancies 
  • Basic data analysis (descriptive analysis and data checks) 
  • Assist with other related projects as needed
