Paid Public Policy Internship with PG County Council Member

Are you passionate about the ability of one person to make a difference? Do you possess excellent communication skills? Are you interested in affecting change through local public policy? Prince George's County Council Member Dannielle Glaros is hiring a public policy intern for the Spring 2019 semester!

Council Member Glaros is the Prince George’s County Council Member who represents District 3, which includes the University of Maryland College Park campus and surrounding area. She is a graduate of the UMD School of Public Policy.

Glaros is hiring a UMD intern to work 10-15 hours per week. Days and hours are flexible, within the workday as well as possible evening/weekend hours, if desired. The Public Policy Intern will assist with legislative research and bill drafting, Purple Line activities, policy and budget research, and more.

Salary range based on experience: $12-$15 per hour.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the ability of one person to make a difference, possess excellent communication skills, and be interested in affecting change through local public policy.
