Data Analysis with R - Opportunity to take a Spring 2021 class through the UMD - DC Consortium


Are you interested in the fast-growing field of data science? How about programming in one of the most popular languages around? Then take Howard University's ECON 181 - Statistical Programming and Financial Literacy, taught by Federal Reserve Board staff through Howard University! The course begins Friday January 22nd.

  • Learn introductory programming in R (highly marketable skills!)
  • Strengthen your data analysis abilities to become more competitive for desirable jobs in economics and data science
  • Get extensive one-on-one help from instructors at the Federal Reserve Board
  • Work with Federal Reserve economists on real world economics research
Prereqs: At least one course in econometrics.

Note that the class meets Friday mornings (virtually for spring 2021) and is taught by Board staff.
