STEPS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit startup that connects volunteers with K-12 families seeking
personalized, one-on-one, long-term, and affordable tutoring and college advising services and donates nearly 100% of profits towards improving STEM education for kids from low-income communities through targeted grants and scholarships.
To date, STEPS has raised ~$16,000 and recently launched the STEPS for Support Grant

What We Are Looking For:
➢ Leadership and team management skills as well as superb interpersonal skills
➢ In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and brand/service management
➢ Understanding of the education market and adaptability to changing market dynamics
➢ Passionate about improving education disparities using social entrepreneurship principles
➢ Prior work/extracurricular experience in the marketing world
➢ An undergraduate or master’s student able to commit 5-10 hours a week
What You Will Be Working On:
➢ Work with the CMO in order to:
- Develop a vast network of potential strategic partnerships
- Brainstorm, present and implement marketing strategies to increase our reach
- Lead a team of marketing interns and oversee daily marketing activities
- Analyze the market and
- Bolster STEPS’ online presence through social media, email marketing, and Ad Campaigns
- Showcase our impact and social mission in parallel with attracting clientele

● Join a young, motivated team of changemakers passionate about our unique model
● Potential for a promotion to co-CMO position
