Are you an ECON student considering a Masters degree or a PhD in Economics?
Are you feeling uncertain about which path is best for you?
Are you unsure about how best to prepare for the application process?
This session will focus on identifying which graduate degree path is right for you and how to best prepare for that path. Students of all years are encouraged to attend. It's not too early to start thinking about graduate school preparation, especially if you are interested in a PhD.
The panel of presenters will include:
Dr. Andrew Sweeting, Professor and Chair, Department of Economics
Dr. John Straub, Program Director, Applied Masters in Economics
Dr. Boragan Aruoba, Chair of the UMD Economics PhD Admissions Committee
Dr. Erin Moody, Director of Undergraduate Studies in Economics.
