Paid Student Trainee Position at the EPA's Office of Water

The Office of Water (OW) is recruiting student trainees. The OW ensures drinking water is safe and restores and maintains oceans, watersheds, and their aquatic ecosystems to protect human health, support economic and recreational activities, and provide healthy habitat for fish, plants and wildlife. 

Open & Closing Dates: 11/28/2023 to 12/12/2023
Position Type: Multiple Schedules - Full Time and Part Time 16 to 32 hours per week
Salary: $35,096 - $55,736 per year
Location of Position: Washington, DC

Tasks:
  • Obtains, compiles, and summarizes narrative information and quantitative data for use by others within an office.
  • Compares basic information to established requirements to identify and correct errors and omissions in files and documents: searching, compiling and arranging data in a usable format, identifying facts, considering relevance to the assignment.
  • Uses varied functions of multiple office automation software to produce a wide range of documents.
  • Assembles materials for staff associated with briefings, conferences, and meetings.
  • Collaborates with other staff on assigned projects.
