The funds are intended to help offset expenses related to such activities including, but not limited to:
- travel/transportation expense
- professional attire
- software/technology, material needs, not provided by employer/University, but essential to the experience.
- conference fees
- opportunity costs, (i.e. the need to give up a part-time paid job in order to take an unpaid internship.)
- The Gary L. Rozier Professional Experience Fellowships for Economics Majors
- The Peggy Rae and John Sapienza Scholarship Fund
- The Robert R. Satterfield Economics Student Opportunities Endowed Funds
If you are a BSOS student with financial need that is preventing you from taking advantage of an unpaid opportunity, we encourage you to apply for BSOS Undergraduate Experience Funds.
